1. Definition: abnormal permanent enlargement of air spaces distal to the terminal bronchioles with destruction of the air space wall.

B. Gross Findings：

1. Abnormal enlargement of lung , pale and soft.

C. Micro Findings：

1. Enlarged air spaces, thinning walls, compressed and bloodless septal capillary, and ruptured alveolar walls.
