A. Brief Descriptions

  1. Usually arise in the periphery of the lung.

  2. They are characterized by the tumor cells growing along the alveolar wall without destroying them.

C. Micro Findings

  1. Columnar to cuboid epithelial cells lining up along the alveolar septa & projecting into the alveolar spaces in numerous branching papillary formations, often containing abundant mucinous secretions, preserving the native septal wall architecture , and well-differentiated in most tumors.

D. Others:

  1. Equally distributed males and females.
