《Slide 176.》Bronchiolo-alveolar carcinoma, Lung
A. Brief Descriptions:
Usually arise in the periphery of the lung.
They are characterized by the tumor cells growing along the alveolar wall without destroying them.
B. Gross Findings:

C. Micro Findings:
Columnar to cuboid epithelial cells lining up along the alveolar septa & projecting into the alveolar spaces in numerous branching papillary formations, often containing abundant mucinous secretions, preserving the native septal wall architecture , and well-differentiated in most tumors.
D. Others:
Equally distributed males and females.
