A. Brief Descriptions:
Elevated yellow plaques located on the medial aspect of the upper and lower eyelids.
B. Gross Findings:
Elevated yellow plaques on the medial aspect of the upper and lower eyelids
C. Micro Findings:
Multiple nests of large, pale-staining, fat-laden histiocytes (xanthoma cells or foamy cells) throughout the subepithelial tissue
These cells have small, regular nuclei and clear, pale-staining cytoplasm
